National Expo & Events Logistics Manager

Overview

You will lead a dedicated team delivering end-to-end logistics and operational support for high-profile organiser accounts. You’ll oversee projects from planning to post-event review, ensuring flawless execution of KN E+E official appointments. As the client’s primary contact, you’ll negotiate pricing and uphold service quality while building trusted relationships. You’ll be hands-on at events, manage domestic UK travel and occasional international assignments, and coordinate multi-mode freight to meet tight deadlines. Your leadership and innovation will drive operational excellence and cost-aware delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team delivering logistics and operational support for high-profile organiser accounts
• Oversee full project lifecycle from planning to post-event evaluation for KN E+E appointments
• Serve as primary client contact to understand schedules, negotiate pricing, and ensure service delivery
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships
• Provide on-site support at events with focus on UK and occasional international travel
• Coordinate complex, time-sensitive freight movements across multiple transport modes
• Lead onsite teams across UK and EU locations to meet client specs
• Oversee budget, monitor expenditures, forecast needs, and report on performance
• Promote use of innovative digital tools to improve service delivery and efficiency

Key requirements

• Sea, air, and road freight logistics experience
• Project management experience with Lean principles preferred
• Highly organized with strong administrative abilities
• Familiarity with customs clearance procedures (ATA Carnets, Temporary Import) desirable
• Proactive problem-solving and initiative in resolving operational challenges
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with attention to detail
• Commitment to exceptional client service and professional relationships
• Full UK Driving Licence
