MEP Quality Assurance Manager

Overview

In this role, you lead the QA function on a major Data Centre development, ensuring MEP installations meet high quality standards and specifications. You’ll work with site teams, engineers and subcontractors to implement robust QA processes and promote right-first-time delivery. You will support commissioning and handover, driving continuous improvement across the project and broader business. Responsibilities

• Lead all MEP QA activities across a major Data Centre project
• Develop, implement and maintain project-specific quality management systems and procedures
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of mechanical and electrical installations
• Review and sign off ITPs, check sheets and QA documentation
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, standards and client requirements
• Manage snagging, defects identification and close-out processes
• Liaise with project managers, engineers and subcontractors to resolve quality issues
• Drive a right-first-time culture across all site activities
• Produce quality reports and provide regular updates to senior management
• Support commissioning activities and handover documentation preparation
• Promote continuous improvement in quality processes across the project and wider business

Key requirements

• Proven experience in a QA/QC or Quality Assurance Manager role within the construction or MEP sector
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical and public health systems
• Previous experience working on Data Centre projects is highly desirable
• Strong understanding of construction quality management systems and procedures
• Experience reviewing technical drawings, specifications and installation standards
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to influence site teams and drive high-quality installation standards
