FSQR Specialist

Overview

You will apply specialized knowledge of food safety and quality systems to support audits and compliance across the plant. You will partner with internal and external teams to address customer requirements and audit findings, while leading and coordinating food safety efforts. You will drive corrective actions, ensure regulatory adherence, and investigate incidents to prevent reoccurrence. This role sits at the heart of the Food Enterprise, shaping safe, high-quality offerings for manufacturers, service providers, and retailers. Responsibilities

• Verify and maintain food safety and quality systems, HACCP, sanitation, prerequisite programs, and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with operations to initiate corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Ensure adherence to corporate, regulatory, customer, and facility requirements and finalize corrective actions.
• Lead regional, corporate, and regulatory food safety audits.
• Act as food safety deputy team leader and oversee the food safety management system and management review.
• Manage compliance of food and feed safety management system with applicable regulations.
• Investigate and follow up on food safety incidents to ensure reporting and permanent corrective actions.
• Solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision and escalate complex cases as needed.

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office
• Experience with Food Safety System Certification 22000 (FSSC 22000)
• Experience with SAP or similar
• Knowledge of food/feed safety industry practices and standards
• Minimum two years of work experience in food and/or feed industry
