Lead Fullstack Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead the design and development of Ophthalmic system components within the Public Sector, guiding a small team and shaping architecture. You’ll work closely with product owners and architects to turn requirements into robust, scalable solutions, while maintaining domain expertise in Ophthalmic workflows. The position combines hands-on coding with technical leadership in a regulated healthcare context, offering impact on mission-critical public sector systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as Lead Developer and technical designer for architecture, solution design, and hands-on implementation
• Lead and coordinate a small team of developers and testers, ensuring quality delivery and best practices
• Analyze, design, develop, and enhance Ophthalmic system components independently
• Build long-term domain knowledge of Ophthalmic workflows, rules, and integrations
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders to refine requirements and drive technical decisions
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance through reviews, refactoring and standards enforcement
• Support CI/CD processes using Jenkins and Git
• Provide technical troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support as needed
