Overview

In this role you will join a bespoke independent building consultancy near Chelmsford to provide expert surveying services across commercial and residential sectors. You will work within a consultancy setting, delivering a range of professional services while contributing to the firm’s growth and client network. You will manage a workload and potentially lead a team, with opportunities to bring in and leverage existing clients. The position supports expansion plans across Essex, London and the South East, aligning with a strong education, industrial and private commercial focus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Building Surveys
• Prepare Dilapidations assessments
• Administer contracts and specifications
• Produce Home Buyer Reports
• Lead Project Management engagements
• Prepare Schedules of Repairs
• Manage own workload and, where applicable, supervise team members
• Develop and maintain client relationships within existing network

Key requirements

• Proven experience in commercial and residential property sectors
• Background in a consultancy environment
• Full RICS membership
