Full Stack Application Developer

Overview

In this role you will build and own internal tools that empower planners to work smarter and make better decisions. You will work in an agile, cross-functional team delivering features end-to-end across Python/FastAPI back ends and React/TypeScript front ends. You will apply AI capabilities within the apps, shaping technical direction and maintaining high code quality. This opportunity blends hands-on development with collaboration, impacting planning outcomes and data-driven workflows. You will operate within Savills’ Planning Consultancy ecosystem, contributing to scalable, robust software that supports sustainable, policy‑compliant projects.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end from scoping with stakeholders to deployment
• Develop and maintain Python/FastAPI back ends and React/TypeScript front ends
• Collaborate in an agile, cross-functional team
• Apply test-driven development and focus on code quality
• Shape technical direction and continuously improve systems
• Build internal tools to support planners and decision-making
• Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions

Key requirements

• Experience as a full stack developer with Python (FastAPI) and React/TypeScript
• Strong understanding of AI capabilities and integration in applications
• Hands-on, self-motivated with ability to work in an agile team
• Proven ability to deliver features end-to-end
• Comfort with production deployment and CI/CD practices
• Excellent collaboration and stakeholder communication
