Overview

As an Investment Banking Associate in the Secondary Advisory team, you will help originate and execute GP-led secondary transactions and other liquidity solutions for private markets clients. You’ll work closely with senior bankers, LPs, GPs, and management teams to analyze opportunities, coordinate due diligence, and shape strategic recommendations. You will manage Analysts, develop client materials, and deliver high-impact presentations to sophisticated investors. This role offers ownership over live transactions, cross-functional collaboration, and a path to leadership in a fast-growing area of private capital markets. You will be supported by a collaborative culture and strong mentorship

Responsibilities

  • Lead execution workstreams across GP-led secondary transactions and liquidity solutions
  • Develop, review and oversee complex financial models and valuation analyses
  • Prepare confidential materials, investor presentations, and transaction memoranda
  • Coordinate due diligence across financial, operational, and commercial aspects
  • Manage transaction timelines and communication among clients, investors and advisers
  • Analyze portfolio company performance and market trends to inform recommendations
  • Draft high-impact PowerPoint presentations for sophisticated investors
  • Provide client service and contribute strategic liquidity solutions
  • Mentor Analysts and support training and onboarding of junior staff
  • Support origination and business development across the PCA platform

Key requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic record
  • 3-5 years’ experience in investment banking, secondary advisory, private equity, fund finance or alt assets
  • Experience supporting or executing complex transactions
  • Strong accounting, corporate finance and valuation knowledge
  • Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
  • Strong project management and organisational abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated leadership potential and commitment to mentoring juniors
