Overview

In this role you will contribute to Scotland’s largest water projects, supporting the SR27 Enterprise and related capital programmes. You will work within a multi-disciplinary Water Team to deliver design solutions that increase resilience, sustainability, and efficiency of water systems. You’ll collaborate with Scottish Water, partners, and stakeholders to shape high-impact infrastructure from conception to detailed design. Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end design delivery for major water projects from inception to detailed design
• Collaborate with Scottish Water and Enterprise Partners to shape design outcomes
• Contribute to flood resilience, blue/green infrastructure, and low-carbon design initiatives
• Engage with multidisciplinary and digital teams to deliver integrated, data-driven solutions
• Assist with remote and rural delivery challenges while ensuring environmental sensitivity
• Participate in technology pilots and validation activities within the Hydro Nation agenda

Key requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent
• Experience in the full cycle of project design delivery
• Knowledge or experience in the water sector
