Senior Embedded & Platform Software Engineer, Workforce Development

Overview

In this role you will develop and refine technical content, labs, demos, and practical activities for embedded systems and Arm-based platforms. You will build and validate labs and setup guidance, support toolchains and environments, and troubleshoot delivery issues. Collaborating with specialists, partners, and institutions, you’ll ensure high-quality, scalable content that helps developers gain hands-on experience with Arm technologies. This is a global role with opportunities to influence how engineers and partners adopt Arm-based solutions at scale.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical content, labs, demos, and practical activities focused on embedded systems and Arm-based development environments
• Prepare, test, and adapt labs, setup guides, demos, software stacks, and practical exercises
• Support tooling, boards, SDKs, development environments, lab setup, and participant onboarding
• Troubleshoot issues across tools, platforms, software environments, boards, and lab workflows
• Coordinate with technical specialists, product teams, partners, and institutions on setup requirements and risks
• Maintain technical quality across delivered content and labs
• Improve labs and assets based on delivery feedback

Key requirements

• Strong working knowledge of Arm-based technologies, tools, platforms, or development environments
• Technical grounding in embedded systems, platform software, firmware, Arm-based development environments, software enablement, or related domains
• Experience delivering or supporting technical content, labs, demos, or developer enablement
• Practical understanding of software and systems workflows, toolchains, debugging, platform bring-up, labs or performance analysis
• Ability to troubleshoot practical technical issues in lab or partner-facing settings
• Ability to explain technical topics clearly to varied technical audiences
• Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
• Good organization, attention to detail, and delivery discipline
