Overview

As a Senior Engineer in our data centre team, you will deliver high-quality electrical design for mission-critical assets. You’ll work within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment to shape technical strategies and ensure robust project delivery. The DC101 program will support your transition into the data centre sector regardless of prior experience. You will influence design outcomes on high-profile global projects and engage directly with clients to drive outcomes that align with our sustainable engineering mission. This role offers growth through mentoring, cross-office collaboration, and exposure to market-leading data centre solutions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurate electrical design solutions including schematics, fault and discrimination studies, and layouts
• Prepare technical specifications, schedules, calculations, project reports, and documentation
• Conduct site inspections and surveys to inform design development
• Coordinate electrical designs with other disciplines and stakeholders
• Lead and support junior engineers and CAD technicians in design delivery and development
• Contribute to internal and external project meetings with electrical expertise
• Support delivery of high-quality electrical design packages
• Collaborate with regional and international offices on multi-disciplinary projects
• Proactively resolve design and project challenges

Key requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related technical discipline
• Chartered or working towards it (support for career path provided)
• Experience in a consulting engineering role
• Initiative, problem-solving, and collaborative mindset
• No prior data centre experience required; DC101 training program available
