Product Manager – Europe

Overview

As a Product Manager at Plaid, you define and drive product areas that enable millions to connect, move, and manage their money. You will partner with engineering, design, and GTM teams to translate customer needs into high-quality experiences. You shape roadmaps using data, feedback, and market signals, balancing art and science. You’ll engage with customers and GTM partners to sharpen ideas and measure outcomes, moving fast with a founder mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own a product area: define problems, develop hypotheses, and drive cross-functional execution.
• Shape the roadmap with data, feedback, and market signals.
• Engage with customers and GTM teams to refine concepts.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of business needs.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Design to deliver intuitive experiences.
• Use metrics and user insights to improve outcomes.
• Communicate clearly to align stakeholders and guide decisions.
• Act with a founder mindset—simplify, move fast, embrace feedback.
• Learn continuously and raise Plaid’s product and culture bar.

Key requirements

• 1–4 years of experience in a product-related role
• Proven track record of building or launching products end-to-end
• Experience collaborating with engineering and design teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex ideas simply
• Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
• Able to make decisions and own outcomes
• Familiarity with using AI in product work (prototyping, research, analysis)
• Experience in an early-stage or high-growth startup environment
• (Nice to have) fintech experience
