Product Design Manager

Overview

As Product Design Manager, you will lead a small product design team and steer the design direction for a Tribe within Perk’s growing platform. You partner with Product and Engineering leads to clarify scope and priorities, advocating for users and design strategy across the Tribe. You shape product strategy, guide end-to-end user experiences, and contribute to a high-impact design leadership agenda. Responsibilities

• Line manage and develop a small team of product designers
• Own the design direction of a Tribe to align with strategic goals
• Contribute to company strategy by leveraging design to meet quarterly Tribe goals
• Develop partnerships with Product Managers, Engineering Leads and Leadership to elevate user voice
• Collaborate with the wider Product Design team to ensure coherent journeys and patterns
• Continuously optimise design operations, processes, frameworks, and rituals
• Influence and support team growth through hiring, networking, and sourcing future members

Key requirements

• 8+ years of experience designing complex systems
• Experience in B2B SaaS
• Demonstrated experience leading design teams and mentoring designers
• Excellent collaboration and ability to direct and inspire action within a team
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to defend design decisions
• Aptitude for breaking down complexity and creating context for others
• Ability to influence product roadmaps with PMs and engineers
• Experience educating and partnering with product teams in high-growth environments
• Experience in international, high-growth product companies
