As Lead Product Manager you guide a team of product managers to translate business goals into actionable roadmaps, delivering products that solve real customer problems and create business value. You partner with senior stakeholders to align initiatives with overall strategy, ensuring delivery is on time and within budget. You shape product strategy, foster a high-performing team, and maintain a clear view of features, releases, and performance. This role sits at the heart of cross-functional collaboration to advance National Grid’s mission in the energy transition.

Responsibilities
- Define and deliver SME strategy and future roadmaps including innovation and R&D
- Coach and develop a high-performing team aligned to tech vision and strategy
- Set objectives across individuals, technology, and NGED priorities
- Engage senior stakeholders and build strong engagement capabilities within teams
- Oversee delegated financial/budget responsibilities for the team
- Identify training needs and drive evidence-based performance improvement
- Manage relationships with third-parties, ensuring scope, budget, milestones, and quality
- Ensure solutions align with commercial viability, architectural strategy and high-level designs
- Support agile delivery principles and best practices across technology
- Steer department technology strategy and roadmap execution
- Oversee team resourcing across projects with internal and external contributors
