Credit Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead the end-to-end Credit, Collections and Order to Cash function for the UK and South East Asia, driving cash collection and working capital performance. You’ll manage a regional team, partner with commercial and operations stakeholders, and report to the Finance Director. The position offers visibility to senior leadership and scope to shape credit and cash strategies across multiple business units. It’s an opportunity to implement process improvements and influence growth in a fast-paced, international context.

Responsibilities

• Lead the regional credit and collections strategy across multiple business units
• Improve cash flow and reduce aged debt to enhance working capital
• Manage customer credit risk, credit limits and exposure monitoring
• Drive Order to Cash process improvements and reporting enhancements
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Customer Service and Operations to resolve collection issues
• Provide insight and reporting on cash performance, risk and collections to senior leaders
• Lead, develop and mentor the Credit and Collections team
• Office-based role with 5 days a week presence

Key requirements

• Proven experience as Credit Manager, Head of Credit, Order to Cash Manager or similar senior role
• Strong expertise in credit risk management, collections and Order to Cash processes
• Track record of improving cash flow and working capital
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leaders
• Experience in fast-paced commercial environments
• Exposure to FMCG, wholesale, distribution, luxury retail or drinks sectors (advantageous)
