Customer Supply Chain Executive

Overview

In this role you enable end-to-end collaboration with MMI, M&S and Ocado to deliver reliable service and efficient operations. You own routine supply chain activities, drive right-first-time delivery, and resolve issues by leveraging data and stakeholder collaboration. You will attend sites, run service reviews, and track KPIs to identify risks and opportunities. The role offers location flexibility and regular travel to key production and despatch sites, providing an important link between customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Support collaboration across operational and strategic supply chain activities with customers and internal teams
• Act as a key link between customer and internal teams ensuring timely and accurate communication
• Attend MMI supply sites to build relationships and support supply chain activities
• Coordinate and conduct regular service reviews with customers and internal stakeholders
• Monitor, analyse and report service KPIs to identify trends, risks and opportunities
• Own routine customer supply chain activities with a right-first-time mentality
• Project manage collaboration initiatives and coordinate communications for business change and key trading events
• Use data to identify improvement opportunities in waste, availability and efficiency
• Support value chain initiatives to improve inbound efficiency across end-to-end supply chain
• Escalate risks and issues and drive practical resolutions
• Continuously seek to simplify processes and enhance ways of working across the supply chain

Key requirements

• Experience in a supply chain, logistics or customer-facing environment
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
• Shows initiative and ownership of tasks through to completion
• Ability to identify issues, investigate root causes and recommend solutions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• SAP, AS400 or Cognos knowledge desirable but not essential
• Strong organisational and planning skills
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive team player with a continuous improvement mindset
• Good understanding of supply chain procedures and processes
• Basic understanding of leading others without direct line-management responsibility
