Overview

In this role, you own the UK & Ireland Consumer Products retail strategy and execute across key channels and retailers while shaping the broader EMEA plan. You bring hardlines expertise to grow Netflix’s retail presence and drive flagship franchises and seasonal moments. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams and licensees to maximise listings, placements and in-store impact. This is a scaling, region-wide leadership role with a clear impact on commercial growth and fan engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Own the UK & Ireland retail strategy and execution across channels, retailers and franchise opportunities.
  • Develop the €EMEA retail strategy to identify regional priorities and whitespace.
  • Identify UK & Ireland growth opportunities using market intelligence and data to guide investments.
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with priority UK & Ireland retailers with a focus on Hardlines.
  • Partner with UK cross-functional teams and licensees to maximise retail execution, including listings, assortment, placement and activation.
  • Translate global Consumer Products strategies into UK & Ireland and EMEA plans with relevant hardlines input.
  • Maximise major franchise and seasonal retail moments with distinctive activations driving visibility and fan engagement.
  • Establish EMEA Hardlines best practices and scalable approaches across markets.
  • Track and evaluate UK & Ireland retail performance using sell-through and market data to improve future programmes.
  • Build and manage strategic UK licensee partnerships with joint business plans and go-to-market strategies.

Key requirements

  • Significant experience in retail, consumer products, licensing or entertainment with deep Hardlines (ideally toys).
  • Deep understanding of the UK & Ireland retail landscape and broader EMEA channels.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing retail strategies that deliver growth.
  • Strong commercial judgement to identify opportunities and prioritise investments.
  • Experience translating global strategies into locally relevant plans across UK & Ireland and EMEA.
  • Strong analytical skills using performance data and consumer insights.
  • Highly effective communication, influencing and cross-functional collaboration across licensing, hardlines, marketing and partners.
