Personal Injury Lawyer/Legal Executive – Full-time or part-time

Overview

In this role you will join a growing Exeter-based personal injury team to manage a diverse PI caseload within a supportive, collaborative culture. You will contribute to department growth by actively developing business and relationships with referrers and clients, while aligning with the firm’s ambitious growth trajectory. The position offers hybrid working after onboarding and flexibility across full- or part-time arrangements. Your work will have a direct impact on delivering high-quality claimant PI work and shaping the department’s future.

Responsibilities

• Manage own claimant PI caseload
• Collaborate closely with colleagues in a supportive environment
• Develop the department by identifying new business opportunities
• Build relationships with referrers and clients
• Contribute to business development and growth initiatives
• Attend Exeter office 2 days per week (hybrid after onboarding)
• Travel occasionally to other offices across Devon and Somerset

Key requirements

• 1–5 years’ personal injury experience (Solicitor or Legal Executive)
• Ability to manage own caseload
• Strong client care and communication skills
• Proactive approach to business development
• Desirable: clinical negligence experience (advantageous but not essential)
• Flexible working arrangement (min 24 hours per week, 4 days)
• Based in Exeter with willingness to travel to other offices
