Junior Operations Supervisor

Overview

As Junior Operations Supervisor, you will lead the on-shift warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment for customers. You’ll partner with the Site Leader to uphold high operational standards at MFCs and support a smooth delivery experience. You’ll tackle stock, inbound, and cycle count tasks while maintaining safety and compliance. This role offers hands-on leadership in a fast-paced, on-demand retail environment with growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and manage staff on duty
• Train new team members and ensure adherence to processes
• Pick and pack orders accurately for dispatch
• Support Delivery Partners for a smooth delivery experience
• Resolve issues including substitutions/out-of-stock items with customers
• Receive goods from vendors and verify counts vs PO/invoice
• Manage stock locations, cycle counts, and waste/compliance
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and safety standards
• Support onsite health & safety compliance and testing
• Collaborate to meet operating standards and continuous improvement initiatives

Key requirements

• Experience in restaurant, retail, or warehouse environments
• Basic web-based software knowledge (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
• Strong work ethic, punctual, responsible and honest
• Effective communication skills
• Organised, team-oriented, positive attitude
• Flexible to cover shifts during operational hours (7am–3am)
