Overview

As an Associate Director in Deloitte’s Procurement Consulting, you lead and shape procurement transformation for top clients, blending strategy, process design, and technology to deliver measurable business value. You’ll mentor teams, build client relationships, and drive multi-stream programmes including digital procurement and cost-out initiatives. Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of multi-work stream procurement transformation programmes (strategic sourcing, commercial strategies, digital procurement, operating model changes)
• Manage client engagements or serve as delivery lead on large programmes with strong client experience
• Develop and manage sales pipeline aligned to a business plan and grow internal and client networks
• Coach and develop teams, foster inclusive, collaborative environments, and contribute to capability building
• Provide leadership and coaching, extend internal capabilities, and contribute to thought leadership and external eminence
• Oversee procurement technology strategy, design, implement, and deploy solutions
• Manage risk and commercial elements of engagements and protect firm reputation
• Support development of Deloitte business, brand, and client reputation
• Travel as required and demonstrate effective project management
• Lead and support development of new solutions and client opportunities
• Build and sustain client relationships to identify and pursue opportunities
• Mentor junior members and drive performance management
• Contribute to delivery excellence and innovation in procurement transformation

Key requirements

• Experience delivering complex procurement transformation programmes (strategic sourcing, digital procurement, process optimization, operating model implementation)
• Proficiency with procurement technology applications (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, Oracle Procurement, Smart GEP, Jaggaer, iValua, Icertis, Globality, Zip, Fairmarkit, Oro, Cirtuo, Sievo, Candex)
• Strong client relationship management and ability to identify and develop business opportunities
• Understanding of the project sales cycle, resource planning, and cost modelling
• Experience coaching and developing high-performing teams, and managing risk
• Proven ability to lead engagements or delivery within large programmes and travel readiness
• Prior experience growing an account or practice and building a sales pipeline
