Solicitor – Property Litigation – Exeter – NQ-1 PQE

Overview

As a Property Litigation Solicitor in Exeter, you will handle a broad spectrum of high-value disputes, working closely with partners to develop your own matters and client exposure. You’ll join a fast-growing team that supports developers, occupiers, lenders and authorities, tackling commercial and residential disputes with ambition and care. Your work will span landlord and tenant issues, Building Safety Act matters, and other real property disputes, contributing to impactful outcomes. Responsibilities

• Handle a diverse caseload of property disputes (commercial landlord and tenant, service charge disputes, building safety, rights of way, adverse possession, boundary issues)
• Manage own matters with supervision from Partners and senior fee earners
• Develop client relationships and deliver excellent outcomes for a broad client base
• Collaborate across the team on high-value matters and provide practical, timely advice
• Support insolvency and recovery actions within property contexts

Key requirements

• Qualified solicitor (NQ-1 PQE) with property litigation exposure
• Experience in both residential and commercial disputes advantageous
• Strong communication and ability to build trusted client relationships
• Good judgement, empathy, and professional handling of sensitive matters
• Strong organisational skills and resilience under pressure
• High attention to detail and proactive, thorough approach
