In this role you lead the pharmacy team within a store setting to deliver patient-focused care and commercial targets. You balance clinical responsibilities with people leadership, ensuring safe, compliant practice and a memorable customer experience. You will develop staff, manage locums, and collaborate with regional and head office teams to drive a profitable, high-quality pharmacy service. Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the pharmacy team to deliver exceptional patient experience and safety
- Meet pharmacy-related targets and deadlines while maintaining compliance with GPhC standards
- Manage the store Pharmacist, colleagues, and locums, including development and performance
- Deliver NHS and private services and act as a bridge between in-store, regional, and head office teams
- Ensure safe working practices and uphold clinical governance
- Handle rota management and operational coverage to sustain service levels
Key requirements
- Fully qualified pharmacist registered with the GPhC
- Experience delivering NHS and local/private services
- Ability to balance line management with pharmacy duties and deliver results
- Strong leadership to inspire and motivate the team within KRAs
- Ability to handle difficult situations while maintaining store connections
- DBS check and ongoing safeguarding qualifications; right to work in the UK
