Overview
In this role you will be the dedicated analytical partner for SumUp’s Consumer Bank tribe, turning business questions into clear analyses and dashboards. You will shape KPI definitions and monitor performance across credit, activation, and retention to inform product, finance, and risk decisions. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams to surface insights and support confident experimentation through in‑flight A/B analysis. This is a growth‑oriented role with ownership from day one, focused on turning data into action that powers the Consumer Bank.

Responsibilities
- Own insight generation and reporting for the Consumer Bank tribe using Snowflake and Tableau
- Define, monitor, and communicate core Consumer Bank KPIs including credit performance, customer behaviour, activation, and retention
- Act as the primary data partner for cross‑functional teams, surfacing trends, anomalies, and opportunities proactively
- Support A/B test design, analysis, and communicate results to enable confident experimentation
- Collaborate with Analytics Engineer to ensure data models support analytical needs and accessible, trusted data for stakeholders
Key requirements
- Strong SQL skills with hands‑on querying, analysing, and validating data in a cloud warehouse (Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar)
- Experience building and maintaining dashboards in BI tools (Tableau or Looker) with outputs used by stakeholders
- Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical frameworks and communicate findings to technical and non‑technical audiences
- Experience managing multiple workstreams across stakeholder groups with prioritisation and proactive communication
