In this role you help manage complex private client matters, including international tax, trusts, and succession planning, with access to senior advisers and partners. Responsibilities
- Advise on UK statutory residence, long-term residence, and regime specifics
- Structure and tax the creation of trusts and family investment companies
- Handle cross-border estates, including drafting Wills and governance guidance
- Provide complex tax and succession planning for clients with international affairs
- Collaborate with senior advisers and partners on high-value, technically challenging matters
Key requirements
- 4+ years’ PQE (SRA or Law Society of Scotland registered lawyer)
- Strong experience advising on international tax and succession planning
- Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative approach
- Ability to manage a complex and varied workload
- Self-motivation, commercial awareness and willingness to learn
- Experience supervising or developing junior colleagues
- STEP qualification (desirable but not essential)
