Sr Delivery Practice Manager (DPM) – UK NatSec, Professional Services, UK NatSec, WWPS

Overview

In this role you will lead a high-performing delivery practice within AWS ProServe, guiding managers and delivery consultants to deliver customer engagements. You will partner with Account and ProServe Sales leadership to shape strategy for the customer segment and ensure outcomes. You will translate technical concepts into business value, engaging executives and governing boards, and drive engagement delivery and customer satisfaction. You will oversee portfolio strategy, risk, and P&L, while developing teams and scaling delivery models. This role offers impact across enterprise cloud initiatives and cross-functional collaboration within AWS.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a high-performing team of Managers and Delivery Consultants
• Define the strategy for the organization in collaboration with Account and ProServe Sales leadership
• Develop and oversee innovative IT strategies for customers
• Manage practice P&L and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery
• Drive business development initiatives and exceed customer satisfaction targets
• Collaborate with partner teams to align delivery with customer outcomes and business goals

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field
• Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape
• Knowledge of IaaS cloud computing transition challenges
• Experience with consulting practice leadership as manager of managers with team size 50+ and P&L responsibility
• Experience with enterprise architecture including virtualization technologies and distributed architecture
• UK Government Security Clearance is required
