Overview
In this role you will sustain, refine, and evolve Foundry’s core L&D offering, fostering a culture of continuous learning. You will work closely with the People team to deliver measurable development initiatives that prepare the organization for the future. You will design and deliver core programs for hybrid and globally distributed teams, partner with external vendors, and translate insights into L&D strategy. This is a hands-on, collaborative role that shapes internal capability and career progression in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and refine existing L&D initiatives (Mentoring, Guilds, management training, People Skills resources) for simplicity and impact
- Assess needs and select external training partners to deliver targeted learning
- Own end-to-end logistics for L&D initiatives (scheduling, communications, venues, partner coordination)
- Curate internal/external learning resources mapped to the People Skills Framework
- Manage L&D budget with the People Director, prioritizing high-impact options
- Keep L&D content/resources current and accessible (Confluence pages)
- Design and deliver internal L&D programs addressing specific organizational needs
- Partner with People Partners to identify learning needs and translate insights into priorities
- Map future skill requirements to Foundry’s 2030 Vision and design reskilling/upskilling programs with external partners
- Support development plans for all employees with relevant L&D resources
- Promote Annual Personal Development Time and internal mobility through People team collaboration
- Define metrics to evaluate ROI and impact of L&D programmes
- Provide quarterly L&D reports with actionable insights to leadership
- Communicate L&D initiatives to drive awareness and participation
- Continuously assess relevance of programmes and embed a culture of continuous learning
Key requirements
- 3-5+ years in a dedicated L&D role
- experience in designing and delivering L&D programmes for hybrid/global teams
- ability to source/evaluate/manage external vendors
- excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- strong organisational and project management skills
- proactive, self-motivated, able to work independently or in a team
- interest or experience in upskilling/reskilling for emerging technologies like AI
- ability to analyse data and generate insights to inform L&D strategy and measure impact
