Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design tasks for medical devices across the full design lifecycle
• Collaborate with electronics, software, physics and other engineering specialists
• Apply ISO 13485 standards and regulatory considerations in development
• Utilize SolidWorks for 3D CAD and evaluate other CAD tools as needed
• Address challenges in fluidics, mechanism design, thermal issues, FEA or related areas
• Work in a cross-functional, collaborative environment to drive project success
• Contribute to product development and improvement initiatives with a view to impact and scale

Key requirements

• Degree required (field unspecified)
• Experience in medical devices or highly regulated industries
• SolidWorks experience or proven ability to quickly learn new 3D CAD tools
• Strong mechanical design knowledge across lifecycle stages
• Awareness of regulatory standards (ISO 13485) a plus
• Team player with ability to collaborate across disciplines
• Ability to work in a growth-focused, dynamic environment
