Overview

In this role you lead regulatory compliance for URBN’s EU/UK operations, shaping how we respond to evolving ESG and product-safety regulations. You will align EU/UK requirements with the global compliance strategy and drive processes that ensure market readiness. You’ll translate complex rules into actionable guidance for cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. This is a strategic, impact-focused position at a fast-moving, international retailer. You’ll help scale transparency initiatives like the Digital Product Passport to support responsible product stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret EU/UK regulatory developments (CSRD, CSDDD, EUDR, EPR) and provide executive-level impact insights.
• Design risk-based compliance frameworks prioritizing high-impact areas while preserving business agility.
• Coordinate with the US Regulatory team to harmonize EU/UK requirements into a global strategy.
• Lead the deployment of Digital Product Passports and ensure data architecture supports traceability and reporting.
• Audit and optimize regional compliance workflows to reduce redundancies across UK and EU units.
• Develop vendor and supply chain onboarding communication to meet transparency mandates.
• Lead cross-functional groups to embed compliance into product lifecycle and reporting.
• Translate complex regulations into guidance for Brand and Production teams, and represent the company in industry forums.
• Provide high-level guidance on EU/UK product safety and labeling ensuring alignment with ESG initiatives.
