In this role you will advise on cross-border private client matters within a respected Bristol law firm. You will handle international wills, estates and succession planning, collaborating with clients and international advisers. The role combines drafting, administration of complex estates, and client-facing responsibilities, with scope for marketing and business development. You will work in a collaborative team focused on cross-border private client work, with opportunities to leverage civil law knowledge and Spanish language skills. Responsibilities
- Draft wills, trusts, deeds, advice notes, and tailored client documentation
- Manage administration of complex cross-border estates
- Communicate with clients, advisers, and international stakeholders
- Provide efficient, commercially aware advice
- Support and progress an active caseload
- Participate in marketing, networking and business development initiatives
Key requirements
- 2-4 years’ experience in international private client work
- Experience with civil law jurisdictions
- Spanish private client experience is advantageous
- Strong drafting skills and excellent attention to detail
- High integrity and client care skills
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office and case management systems
- Demonstrable interest in international private client matters
- Completion of a recognised training contract or equivalent qualifying experience
