Residential Project Manager – London – New Build Development

Overview

In this London-based role, you will lead a residential development project from start to finish, coordinating on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver high-quality homes on schedule and within budget. You will drive safety, quality, and coordinating the build program with a focus on RC frame construction and premium finishes. You will coach junior staff and work closely with cross-functional teams to meet milestones like show-home openings and legal completions. Responsibilities

• Lead Assistant/Site Managers and support their development
• Ensure compliance with Build Policy/Procedures
• Supervise subcontractors, material suppliers, and utilities to meet program, quality, and cost targets
• Schedule work to hit production targets while maintaining product quality and budget
• Ensure drawings and instructions are followed
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors; provide information on additional requirements and resolve site issues
• Enforce Health and Safety in line with company procedures
• Coach and develop junior team members
• Plan and organize to achieve start on site, show-home opening, CML and legal completion targets
• Lead the project operations team to deliver the project within budget and timelines

Key requirements

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction management within the house-building sector
• Experience on RC frame developments from start to finish
• Experience overseeing trades/subcontractors, scheduling, material orders, programming, snagging, and liaising with sales
• Ability to coach and develop junior team members
• Strong problem-solving on site, self-motivated, takes initiative
• Ability to lead by example and motivate teams
• Proven planning and organizational skills to meet objectives and deadlines
