Embedded Software Engineer

Overview

In this role you will design and implement embedded C firmware for audio/video products, working with MCU families (notably Texas MSP) and wireless/wired interfaces. You will collaborate across hardware and software aspects to ensure robust, interface-ready solutions. You’ll contribute to product integration through protocol and tool understanding, with a focus on scalable, reliable embedded software. This is a hands-on role in a tech-forward environment that values practical engineering on communication interfaces and multimedia devices.

Responsibilities

• Design embedded C firmware for audio and video products
• Work with various MCU families, emphasising Texas MSP
• Implement wireless technologies (Bluetooth, LoRa, Zigbee) at module/chipset level
• Develop wired communication interfaces (USB, RS232)
• Read schematics and understand on-board interfaces (UART, I2C, SPI)
• Develop Android applications using Java (Android Studio)

Key requirements

• Proficiency in Embedded C software design
• Experience with MCU families (preferably Texas MSP)
• Knowledge of wireless protocols (Bluetooth, LoRa, ZigBee) at MCU/module level
• Experience with USB and RS232
• Ability to read schematics and work with UART, I2C, SPI interfaces
• Java/Android Studio development experience
