Project Manager – HV Cable Infrastructure

Overview

In this role you will lead HV engineering project delivery, aligning programmes, budgets, quality and scope with the project lifecycle. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to drive successful outcomes for a major 132kV cable route. You will emphasise safety, compliance and stakeholder engagement while navigating technical and regulatory requirements. This is a hands-on project leadership role within the renewables/grid sector, shaping critical infrastructure delivery.

Responsibilities

• Managing project programmes, budgets and scope changes
• Overseeing project quality, safety and compliance
• Coordinating designers, consultants, surveyors, construction teams and suppliers
• Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations and industry standards
• Supporting the successful delivery of a major 132kV cable route project

Key requirements

• Proven experience delivering HV/EHV engineering or utilities projects
• Experience managing programmes, budgets, quality and project delivery
• A strong understanding of CDM Regulations
• Streetworks and highways experience
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
