Electrical Project Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead the delivery of electrical work packages from pre-construction through handover, ensuring alignment with programme, safety and quality targets. You will work closely with project leadership and cross-functional teams to keep procurement, design, planning and commercial objectives on track. The position offers exposure to technically challenging, high-profile projects within a collaborative, safety-focused environment. Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical packages from pre-construction through commissioning and handover
• Develop and maintain delivery programmes and procurement schedules
• Coordinate design information, submittals, RFIs and builder’s-work requirements
• Lead subcontractors, supervisors and direct labour with a focus on safety, quality and productivity
• Monitor progress, cost, risk and change, and escalate issues with recovery actions
• Lead meetings with clients, consultants and subcontractors with clear action tracking
• Ensure materials, plant and resources align with programme requirements
• Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, O&M information and practical completion
• Support valuations, variations and financial performance with commercial colleagues

Key requirements

• Proven experience managing electrical packages on construction or engineering projects
• Strong understanding of design coordination, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning
• Confident in leading subcontractors and communicating with clients, consultants and project teams
• Relevant technical qualification or trade background with solid site-delivery experience
• Good understanding of construction health and safety, quality assurance and project controls
• Ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to travel to and work from the Brent Cross location as required
