Python Engineer

Overview

In this role you will contribute to a Python-driven data platform within a fast-growing fintech, shaping data products that enable scalable decision-making. You will join a collaborative Python Infrastructure team focused on transforming and modeling data with SQL/dbt and building workflows in Python. This position sits at the intersection of analytics engineering and data engineering, offering high-impact work and cross-functional collaboration. You will help optimize day-to-day data operations as the company expands into new markets.

Responsibilities

• Transform and model data using SQL and dbt to support analytics and reporting
• Build data workflows and automated processes in Python
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver data products
• Leverage Snowflake as part of a modern data stack
• Create tools to streamline day-to-day data work and improve efficiency

Key requirements

• Experience with SQL/Snowflake or similar modern data platforms
• Strong Python development experience
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines or data-intensive backend services
• Collaborative mindset and clear communication across teams
• Willingness to learn and contribute in a highly collaborative environment
• Cross-functional experience is a plus
