Senior / Associate Project Manager – Real Estate

Overview

As a Project Manager in our Edinburgh Real Estate team, you will lead end-to-end project delivery for strategic commissions, ensuring time, cost and quality targets are met. You’ll be the primary client interface, coordinating cross-functional teams and governance structures to realise client objectives. You’ll influence project scope, planning, procurement, reporting and risk management, while seeking new business opportunities. This role combines hands-on delivery with shaping client-facing, service-delivery excellence in a sustainability-minded firm.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project management of commissions, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and quality standards
• Act as day-to-day client interface, aligning with client objectives
• Strategic advisement at project conception and establishing success criteria
• Develop and manage detailed project plans; oversee governance, processes and systems
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams and procurement decisions
• Monitor performance using KPIs and manage change control
• Oversee project finances and invoicing; monitor financial status
• Produce formal project progress reports and maintain client communications
• Engage with clients and consultants at all stages; support business development and bid activities
• Identify opportunities to improve PM products and services; manage internal knowledge and resources
• Contribute to staff development, resource planning and appraisals where appropriate
• Coordinate knowledge management and maintain project case studies and CVs
• Support process improvements and use of internal tools (e.g., FMS)

Key requirements

• Proven experience managing Real Estate projects, ideally in a consultancy environment
• Degree qualified in a relevant discipline
