Cyber Security Engineer

Overview

As Cyber Security Engineer you will strengthen our SecOps capabilities and drive the transition toward a zero-trust model. You will collaborate with the Lead Cyber Security Engineer to implement and maintain security controls, respond to incidents, and support ISO 27001 and CIS controls initiatives. Your work aims to enhance our security posture across infrastructure and enable proactive threat management. This role offers impact through shaping security strategy, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and delivering runbooks and reports that inform risk decisions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and tune CrowdStrike EDR and SIEM rules for optimal performance
• Collaborate with network engineers on posture management (ICE/NAC segmentation, lateral movement control, firewalls)
• Align CrowdStrike and other platforms with security strategy and policies
• Lead or participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and runbook development
• Monitor threats, analyze alerts, and respond to incidents using CrowdStrike and other tools
• Conduct vulnerability scans and support remediation and risk mitigation
• Oversee WAF, DDoS, VPN, and perimeter firewalls
• Administer MFA, SSO, PAM, MDM/MAM, and Conditional Access with Endpoints team
• Maintain security certificates, encryption keys, and IDS/IPS systems
• Collaborate with third-party penetration testers to identify and remediate vulnerabilities
• Produce detailed threat, incident, and response reports; document configurations and processes
• Stay informed on cybersecurity trends and regulatory obligations including SRA Standards and Regulations

Key requirements

• CISSP
• Crest Practitioner Security Analyst – CPSA
• Palo Alto Network Certified Security Operations Professional
• Experience with CrowdStrike EDR, Cisco ISE, Mimecast, Tessian (or equivalent), Intune, Entra ID, Active Directory
• Knowledge of Palo Alto Firewalls, WAF, Menlo Security; PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS
