Overview
In this permanent role you will support a Surrey-based residential developer on new build projects from inception to completion. You will focus on cost management and commercial delivery within the growing QS team, helping to drive value and efficiency across residential schemes. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects stay on time and within budget, contributing to the company’s growth and career progression opportunities. A strong degree in Quantity Surveying and UK residential experience will help you hit the ground running.
Responsibilities
- Manage costs and financial control on residential new build projects
- Support value engineering and procurement processes
- Prepare cost plans, budgets, and cash flows throughout project lifecycle
- Provide commercial reporting and cost-to-complete forecasts
- Collaborate with project teams from inception to completion
- Assist in subcontractor procurement and contract administration
Key requirements
- 3-5 years of experience with a UK residential developer
- Experience on residential new build projects from inception to completion
- Degree in Quantity Surveying (essential)
- RICS and CIOB memberships desirable but not essential
