Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmap: create a data-driven plan to increase market share within a geography/segment
- Pipeline Management: build and maintain a pipeline of customer partnerships
- Customer Partnerships: establish strategic, long-term relationships for future opportunities
- Value Proposition Development: tailor solutions leveraging preferred suppliers to drive profitability
- Pricing and Profitability: govern regional pricing, margins, and contract profitability
- Market Agility: adapt strategies to changing market conditions for long-term growth
- Multichannel Growth: promote multichannel adoption to enhance customer propositions
- Customer Experience: ensure exceptional service and OTIF through collaboration with internal specialists
- Team Development: upskill internal teams and define clear account ownership
Key requirements
- Industry or Wholesale Experience
- Commercial expertise including margin, P&L, cost to serve
- Influencing and Negotiation skills
- Experience in business development with proven results
- Data-driven decision making for strategic planning and growth
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
- Proven sales experience with prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business
