Manager, Transaction Services

Overview

Interpath seeks a Manager in London to lead Transaction Services across buy-side and sell-side deals. You will drive financial due diligence (FDD) and vendor due diligence (VDD), assess quality of earnings, and benchmark net working capital. You’ll review balance sheets, identify debt-like items, and evaluate forecasts with risk and opportunities in mind. You’ll be a primary client contact, mentor analysts, and help strengthen client relationships within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role supports the firm’s growth and global advisory ambitions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of Financial Due Diligence (FDD) and Vendor Due Diligence (VDD) reports
• Evaluate Quality of Earnings to pinpoint extraordinary income and costs that impact underlying earnings
• Analyse and benchmark Net Working Capital (NWC) based on historical trends
• Identify debt-like items through an in-depth review of balance sheets and off-balance-sheet arrangements
• Critically assess target forecasts, highlighting possible risks and opportunities
• Engage in client meetings and serve as the primary contact for day-to-day FDD execution
• Strengthen client relationships while mentoring associates within the team

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 2 years’ experience in Transaction Services or another relevant field
• Chartered Accountancy, or other similar professional qualification, preferred, but not required
• Demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and strong team orientation
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a proven record in managing relationships with clients
• Experience in business development strategy is advantageous but not mandatory
