Overview

In this role you advise on cyber security risk, vulnerabilities, audits and compliance for customers, helping them understand and manage cyber risk in government, defence and critical national infrastructure environments. You will apply frameworks, perform risk assessments, and present clear security recommendations, collaborating with stakeholders to drive secure outcomes. The position offers exposure to cutting-edge technology and cross-site collaboration, with a focus on building risk-informed security cases. Responsibilities

• Apply cyber security frameworks (NIST, ISO27001) to risk assessments and assurance activities
• Identify, assess and document cyber security risks, vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies
• Support security accreditation, compliance and governance
• Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and present findings
• Build knowledge of digital technologies, networks and threat frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK) to inform decisions
• Contribute to cyber security projects in government, defence and critical national infrastructure environments
• Work independently while seeking guidance and development opportunities

Key requirements

• Experience in security vulnerability, risk, audit and compliance
• Digitally literate (Microsoft Office)
• Experience applying/working with NIST and ISO27001 frameworks and standards
