Overview
As a Personal Injury Lawyer in the Exeter office, you will handle a varied PI caseload within a growing regional firm’s Litigation Department. You’ll work with senior colleagues on both standard and larger matters, with some travel to meet clients and contribute to business development. The role offers hybrid working after probation, strong progression, and a collaborative culture, in a scale-up environment. You will shape outcomes for clients while supporting the firm’s growth and market presence.

Responsibilities
- Manage MOJ Portal and Fast Track PI cases
- Handle Intermediate Track cases with minimal supervision
- Assist a partner on larger Multi Track matters
- Support on clinical negligence cases (desirable but not essential)
- Travel to other offices to meet clients as required
- Contribute to marketing and business development initiatives
- Develop new sources of PI work and follow through on ideas
Key requirements
- 3-5 years’ post-qualification experience in personal injury
- Solicitor or CILEX with full litigation practising rights
- Ability to manage own caseload confidently and independently
- Willingness to learn additional areas of litigation
- Strong communication, organisational, and client care skills
- Proactive approach to business development
- Client following or proven BD track record (advantageous)
