Recoveries Executive – Manchester (Hybrid)

Overview

Enthusiastic Recoveries Executive to manage a portfolio of collect-out clients, coordinating with external law firms and internal risk teams to recover indebtedness. You will use our recoveries system to track strategy, progress, and timelines, and prepare bad debt provision reports for commercial units. The role involves pursuing securities and initiating legal actions where appropriate, with oversight from risk and business heads. You’ll review substantial provisions to drive lessons learned and contribute to the company’s credit recovery outcomes. Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of collect-out clients and engage third-party law firms as appropriate
• Ensure consistent use of Riskfactor (or future systems) and provide visibility of recoveries strategy, progress, and timescales
• Prepare and obtain approval for collect-out and bad debt provision reports for internal commercial units
• Pursue indebtedness through securities and sales ledger, and initiate legal proceedings or instruct solicitors
• Conduct reviews of bad debt provisions (25k+) with Risk Manager and Line Manager to drive lessons learned
