Production Team Leader

Overview

As Production Team Leader at Kerry Coleraine, you will guide daily production on 12-hour shifts, ensuring safe, efficient operations and quality. You’ll supervise changeovers, troubleshoot issues, and verify materials and batch data, while driving continuous improvement. Responsibilities

• Carry out production activities and changeovers per SOPs
• Lead problem-solving to identify and report production issues; escalate for root-cause analysis
• Inspect materials for damage and verify batch numbers and shelf-life
• Confirm availability of ingredients, packaging, consumables, and resources
• Record and collect production and quality control data
• Perform SOP checks on WIP and finished product
• Conduct maintenance checks on process equipment
• Cross-train across machines and production areas for flexibility

Key requirements

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, ideally in a food production environment
• Experience operating machinery in manufacturing
• Leadership experience in manufacturing environment
• Confident communicator with strong written, verbal and numerical skills in English
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with a proactive approach
• Team-focused with commitment to supporting the Production Stream to achieve goals
