Production Supervisor

Overview

As Production Supervisor in Coalville, you will lead the Machine Shop team to manufacture crushing equipment. You’ll coach and manage a production line, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You’ll translate bespoke drawings into efficient work, monitor performance, and control costs. Responsibilities

• Mechanical fitting of crushing equipment on the production line
• Read and interpret bespoke engineering drawings
• Meet targets while on the production line
• Safe and controlled movement of production parts
• Lead and coach team members on a daily basis
• Work with tight deadlines and report performance daily
• Monitor and lead department performance
• Attend required meetings
• Manage consumables and labour costs
• Conduct performance, disciplinary and absence meetings as required

Key requirements

• Experience training and supervising individuals
• Proven experience leading a team to targets and efficiencies
• Willing and desire to progress into a leadership role
• Experience of fitting hydraulics
• Experience in mechanical fitting
• Experience of building crushing equipment (desirable)
• Proven engineering manufacturing experience
• Good mechanical skills
