Production Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead the production facility to meet safety, quality, and delivery targets while supporting Terex’s expansion. You’ll drive lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and zero-defects quality, working closely with cross‑functional teams to optimize people, plant, and processes. You’ll manage and develop the manufacturing team, uphold health and safety standards, and contribute to the company’s strategic targets. This is a hands-on leadership position in a global engineering environment that values accountability and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and lead safety audits and investigations to prevent recurrence
• Manage daily/weekly/monthly production to meet customer specifications, quality, delivery, and cost targets
• Drive and embed TQM (zero defects) across production
• Organise and participate in daily/weekly production meetings, coordinate inputs from people, plant and processes
• Promote continual output improvements and a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability
• Supervise the manufacturing team: labor, work instructions, attendance, performance, and disciplinary issues
• Apply lean manufacturing practices; pursue daily Kaizens and problem solving for continuous improvement
• Align with company vision and contribute to strategic and operational targets as part of the management team
• Undertake additional duties to improve conditions for all employees

Key requirements

• Significant production experience in a busy manufacturing environment
• Proven supervisory/people management experience
• Lean manufacturing understanding and continuous improvement experience (advantage)
• Computer literacy and experience with Oracle/ERP systems
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and adapting to changing priorities
• Logical, methodical problem-solving approach and ability to drive improvements
• Team player with a performance-driven mindset to achieve business objectives
