Angular Developer with Python and AWS

Overview

In this role you will design and develop scalable, secure web apps and cloud-native solutions using Angular, Python and AWS. You’ll work in a small, collaborative team to deliver clean code and integrate components across systems. You will deploy to SIT/UAT environments, troubleshoot, and contribute to continuous delivery and documentation. The role offers exposure to cloud architecture, microservices and end-to-end development in a hybrid work setup from London.

Responsibilities

• Produce clean, efficient code from specifications or user stories
• Integrate software components between in-house and third-party apps
• Deploy tested code to SIT/UAT environments
• Support, troubleshoot, and upgrade applications
• Recommend and implement improvements
• Create technical documentation for solutions
• Conduct peer reviews of colleagues’ code
• Collaborate with architects and developers on solution design
• Estimate user stories and feed into Product Backlog
• Write unit tests and ensure acceptance criteria
• Support CI/CD initiatives and remove technical impediments
• Liaise with DB administration and infrastructure teams for live deployments

Key requirements

• Experience as a software developer in Agile environments
• Proficiency in Python, Angular 6, JavaScript, JSON, Java
• Experience with CI/CD and build/deployment tools (e.g., Bamboo)
• Knowledge of microservices, APIs and cloud (AWS, Azure)
• REST API integration experience
• SQL database development and cloud deployment (RDS in AWS)
• Containerization with Docker/Kubernetes/Fargate
• Experience with version control systems (Git, TFS)
• Experience across full SDLC and test-driven development
• Experience with technical documentation and user stories
