Overview
In this role you assist the technology delivery within the Plans Portfolio Delivery team to structure, track and govern software change across global development groups. You will work closely with senior project managers, delivery teams and stakeholders in an Agile setting, helping ensure projects meet scope, quality, time and cost objectives. The position offers learning and development in a supportive, collaborative environment with global exposure. It is a hands-on entry point into project governance, planning and delivery coordination with real impact.

Responsibilities
- Support delivery of projects, initiatives and work packages within the Plans Portfolio Delivery team within agreed constraints.
- Maintain clear project plans, schedules and artefacts; capture milestones, risks, issues, dependencies and decisions.
- Assist with estimates, delivery plans and status information for programme and portfolio reporting.
- Track risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies; escalate blockers early for action.
- Build relationships with delivery teams, senior project managers, stakeholders and tech colleagues to enable transparent delivery.
- Schedule, prepare and run project meetings, workshops and planning sessions; record and follow up actions.
- Provide timely project progress updates and visibility of status, risks and next steps to stakeholders.
- Support problem-solving to identify root causes and practical actions to move delivery forward.
- Assist with formal project closure activities, including lessons learned and handover of actions.
Key requirements
- Basic understanding of end-to-end software delivery lifecycle
- Familiar with Agile ways of working
- Developing skills in project planning, delivery tracking, RAID management and governance reporting
- Ability to identify and clarify issues, risks and blockers and work with others to determine next steps
- Strong communication skills and ability to present information clearly both verbally and in writing
