Inspection Quality Assurance (IQA) Operative I

Overview

In this role you ensure incoming raw materials for in-vitro diagnostic manufacturing meet specifications and are released to supply chain on time. You work within Product Quality Assurance to coordinate inspections, tagging, and disposition decisions, while collaborating with Stores and production to support the master schedule. You maintain GMP-compliant records and perform ERP tasks to manage work orders and inventory. This position offers hands-on quality control impact in a global diagnostics environment with a clear focus on material readiness and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Verify compliance of incoming records with specifications and make final disposition decisions
• Labeling, boxing, and physically relocating materials with Stores
• Coordinate with PQA Manager or IQA Officer on workload and tasks
• Ensure raw materials are inspected, tested, and released to supply chain on time
• Plan and manage workload for specified production job assignments
• Perform ERP transactions for works orders and inventory, including quarantine processes
• Collaborate to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards
• Complete, maintain, and archive GMP-records and quality documentation
• Adhere to corporate and divisional policies and perform other duties as assigned

Key requirements

• Computer literacy with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation
• Experience completing quality documentation (Manufacturing Batch Records, lab reports, etc.)
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Desirable: Education in Biochemistry or related discipline
• Desirable: Stores or quality assurance experience
• Desirable: Forklift license or ability to obtain
