Overview

In this role you will lead electrical design work for large-scale projects from the Woking office. You will develop robust design deliverables, perform system studies, and ensure compliance with international and regional standards, while collaborating with clients, vendors and cross-functional teams. You’ll contribute to clean project execution and quality-driven results on high-profile engineering endeavors. This position offers impact across multiple project stages and a pathway to senior leadership in electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver project work following discipline design instructions and procedures
  • Prepare deliverables such as base of design, specs, load lists, datasheets, calculations, single line diagrams, equipment sizing, drawings and schematics
  • Conduct electrical system studies using ETAP
  • Contribute to layouts, equipment lists, and cost estimates
  • Manage electrical activities including progress reporting and quality checks
  • Support change management, ensuring scope clarity and compliance
  • Assist in procurement, technical evaluations and vendor liaison
  • Ensure adherence to electrical codes and standards (including Aramco SAES)
  • Review vendor deliverables for compliance
  • Design motor protection and control wiring diagrams
  • Represent electrical discipline in meetings with clients, project teams, and vendors

Key requirements

  • Strong experience as an Electrical Engineer on large-scale projects
  • Ability to produce detailed design deliverables and calculations
  • Proficiency in ETAP (or similar software)
  • Solid knowledge of electrical standards and codes
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder interfacing
  • Experience with Aramco SAES and Saudi regulatory standards
