Overview
In this role, you will support the EMEA events program to connect clients and stakeholders with Wellington’s offerings. Working closely with Marketing, Client Platform and Compliance, you will plan, source venues and vendors, manage logistics, and monitor event outcomes. You will help maintain brand-aligned materials and ensure events meet risk and regulatory standards. This position offers hands-on experience across institutional and wealth channels in a globally-focused firm that values collaboration and long-term client impact.

Responsibilities
- Assist the Events Manager in planning and executing events across EMEA
- Source and manage event vendors (venues, restaurants, catering)
- Handle on-site logistics and coordination
- Track event budgets and spend
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business priorities
- Develop event promotional materials and communications (microsites, emails, social)
- Coordinate stand design/formatting with brand guidelines
- Maintain relationships with external suppliers to optimize cost and quality
- Track event metrics and ROI/success stories
- Manage event merchandise inventory and related invoices/contracts
- Update English event website pages quarterly and refresh hero banners
- Ensure events meet risk, brand, and regulatory requirements
- Support global marketing processes and the EMEA events function
- Maintain event data and records for compliance and reporting
Key requirements
- 1–3 years of events or administration experience in financial or professional services
- Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Strong organization, attention to detail and time management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with proactive attitude and ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to build productive business relationships
- Comfort in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional collaboration
- German, Italian or Spanish language skills desired but not required
- Experience with event technology such as On24 and Bizzabo desired but not required
