Overview

In this senior Reward Advisor role, you shape and advise on remuneration strategy, governance and programmes to support business priorities and regulatory obligations. You’ll partner with senior leaders, influence remuneration philosophy, and drive end-to-end reward processes across the IBP function. You’ll translate market insight and legal developments into clear recommendations for executive and governance forums. This role blends strategic insight with rigorous governance in a regulated financial services environment, offering impact at board level and across committees.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and shape complex reward initiatives and annual reward cycles (IBP Specialist Bank Annual Reward Review)
  • Advise on remuneration philosophy and governance to executive and governance forums
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to deliver reward changes within governance
  • Provide regulatory and legal oversight on remuneration requirements and disclosures
  • Conduct remuneration research and benchmarking to inform strategy and hiring decisions
  • Prepare analytical materials and schedules for Remuneration Committee approvals
  • Ensure integrity of reward data and support regulatory reporting and governance
  • Oversee implementation planning and project management for reward changes
  • Support diversity and inclusion-related reporting (e.g., gender/pay gap, CEO pay ratio) where relevant
  • Deliver market analysis and bespoke benchmarking for senior hires and critical roles

Key requirements

  • Deep and broad reward experience in financial services
  • Knowledge of remuneration governance, regulatory reporting and disclosure obligations
  • Experience advising business leaders and senior stakeholders
  • Strong numeracy and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical skills with ability to translate data into insights and recommendations
  • Ability to prepare Board-level analyses and presentations
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leadership
  • Change and project management experience with delivery responsibilities
  • Commercial judgement balancing market competitiveness, affordability and governance
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive remuneration matters
  • Ability to operate effectively in a complex, highly regulated environment
